Rockin’ the “Carrie” Look for Sex in the City

April 29, 2010

I hosted a Sex in the City party a while back and people dressed up like their favourite characters.

So after seeing a couple photos of people dressed up as Carrie. I  felt I needed to show off my “Carrie” look.

Pretty good eh? Just wished I had blond hair back then.

10 Rules for the True Shoe Addicts

April 27, 2010

10. Treat the shoe as you would like to be treated-don’t let others walk over them.

9. If someone is wearing awesome shoes tell them. Even if you don’t know them. That is a sure way to put a smile on someone’s face.

8. If you can’t walk properly don’t wear them in public. Master them at home first.

7. You can never buy heels that are too high. The bigger the better!

6. Platforms are your friends. Especially the hidden ones.

5. Toe cleavage is a must-but not too much; that’s just trashy.

4. Wear shoes that are conversation starters whether it be a bold colour, funky pattern or unique cut.

3. Plan your outfit around your shoes.

2. Comfort vs. Fashion: Fashion always wins. Comfort is a bonus.

1. Work them! Any shoe can be hot if worn with the right outfit and worn with confidence.

Spreading the Shoe Addiction

April 26, 2010

There are many of us out there who love shoes. I came across a blog about a woman who is sharing her passion with the less fortunate. She donated 30 pairs of her shoes for her 30th birthday! Check it out. http://is.gd/bIf3T

Want to Save Your Soles?

April 2, 2010

Don’t you hate it when the soles on your shoes wear out? I have busted through a number of shoes; but I found a product that may help with this.

The other day I came across a company called Save Your Sole. The company is focused on protecting the soles of your shoes and ensuring that they last longer. They specialize in designer shoes and have shoe soles that will match any colour shoe–red, blue, black, grey, cream and white.

The company is based in London, but you can buy these soles online. All you do is buy them online and then take them to a shoe cobbler to fit them.

In addition to shoe soles they have shoe hotels! What a space-effective way to store shoes. I want to wake up everyday and see all of my shoes on display. They will custom make them for any closet.

Check out these cool company at http://www.saveyoursole.co.uk/
