Want to Save Your Soles?

April 2, 2010

Don’t you hate it when the soles on your shoes wear out? I have busted through a number of shoes; but I found a product that may help with this.

The other day I came across a company called Save Your Sole. The company is focused on protecting the soles of your shoes and ensuring that they last longer. They specialize in designer shoes and have shoe soles that will match any colour shoe–red, blue, black, grey, cream and white.

The company is based in London, but you can buy these soles online. All you do is buy them online and then take them to a shoe cobbler to fit them.

In addition to shoe soles they have shoe hotels! What a space-effective way to store shoes. I want to wake up everyday and see all of my shoes on display. They will custom make them for any closet.

Let me introduce you to Miz Mooz shoes.

March 20, 2010

So,  I’d like to apologize to those of you who have been anxiously awaiting a new post. But the other day I got excited about the latest pair of shoes I bought and want to share my love for this shoe brand I just discovered-Miz Mooz.

The name of the brand actually caught my eye because my youngest sister was nicknamed Miss Moo when she was very young. Where she got the nickname; I’m not quite sure.

Back to the shoes. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had on my feet. Because I had not heard of this brand before I had to do a little research about the company and what it is all about.

The company started as a boutique line in NY and is now sold in a variety of stores, including John David Shoes (where I bought them) The unique thing about these shoes is that they are all hand crafted.

Take the time to check out their awesome website. www.miz-mooz.com

Louboutin shoes for Barbie!

October 19, 2009

So there is one more reason I wished I was a Barbie…50th_logo_PMS219-CMYK
Christian Louboutin has designed shoes for her.

This year was Barbie’s 50th anniversary and what better way to celebrate it than with three new barbies in stylish Christian Louboutin shoes.  If I could own just one pair of these shoes I would be a happy girl.

How come Barbie has it all? Convertible, tiny waist-big bust, a hot boy toy…

But Louboutin didn’t think she was perfect.

He had to manipulate her ankles to make them smaller so that the shoes looked better. What a concept… and what an uproar that caused.

The word “Barbie” and “Cankles” should never be in the same sentence.
